I swear I think that's a human archetypal reaction, that's deep within our souls. Like hearing music from a distance. It gets me every time on a deep and wonderful level, all my life whether in person, in a picture, on a movie anything. It feels modern, victorian, ancient, and maybe something that's just in human cell memory from the earliest of times in some form or another?

I knew it would take a Blizzard to lull this insomniac to sleep, and this is my perfect storm.... even the scene is ideal ! My old house does not have a turret, but minus that, looks very similar. A few more trees in the yard, and the lights from the small town a bit further away, and I'm "there", yet "here" ! The realistic howling of the wind; different tones, even some buzzing, and slight sounds of twigs and things being tossed about (or is that my imagination?); in 10 or 15 minutes....Im out. Thank you !
