@@drawinsscribblins5326 We all want to draw closer and closer to the Lord... One day at a time. We do need to set aside time to worship with him everyday. He will meet with us if we are willing. He is the same tender-hearted teacher as he was then.

Let me guess .. you're SDA. Jesus said man was not made for the sabbath for the sabbath for man. Therefore the son of man is also Lord of the Sabbath"... Romans 14 also says "one man esteems one day above another, another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind" Sabbath is REST IN JESUS. Nit picking on an exact day is exactly what the pharisees used to do. And we know how Jeaus felt about them. I have heard it explained that he said pray thay it isn't the sabbath because everything shut down on that day/still does in Israel.

Yes, I'm a Seventh-day Adventist. I keep the biblical Sabbath rather than the one given by papal Rome. It is written, "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. - Exodus 20:8-11 And as you rightly quoted, Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath. I follow his example in keeping the Sabbath he gave to "man".
