One thing noone is talking about is positions in the room. Get a bad spot in the room that doesn’t naturally draw the eye? Too f’ing bad, you’re stuck there. As there were fewer and fewer, noone got moved closer together. And the All Stars had center stage while zero was at the ends. That pisses me off so much. A zero star at top row furthest away could dance until he was sweaty and tired and not even be really looked at yet.

I couldn’t even finish the episode, the producers were insane for thinking that was an okay thing to do. Made me feel sick. Loved the Eden screen time, even if they cut his actual performance 😭. There were a lot of performances that I liked that weren’t shown at all.

I voted for Kaito too 😭 For some reason I didn’t receive Ying Hao’s group that well (I’m very personality and kindness driven and they seemed a bit full of themselves maybe? I tend to not respond to that well) but the moment he stood up, he had my vote. That takes balls and I respect that. Finding out the week after that he wasn’t even dancing himself just further cemented that. He really showed the essence of his character, his willingness to do what’s right and the empathy he has. Adding his talent to that he will be a firm second pick throughout this. After Eden off course, who’s the sole reason why I’m even watching. If Eden’s eliminated I’ll probably stop watching and just voting daily for my faves.

But especially Ying Hao showed quickly that there’s more to his character and I needed that look behind the veil of confidence to connect to him.

Guanyou/Gwanwoo used to be very insecure because he was a backup plan for his company when he was a trainee and always get criticism, but since his last show ywy3, his talent and hard work were recognized by the mentors, other trainees and netizen and now he become more confident in slb. Thank you for this commentary, I’ve missed watching your videos (since BP ended) The shit that came out of this episode really is nasty, I hope situations like this won’t happen again. Yoo Gwan Woo, Sun Ying Hao and Duan Xing Xing really caught my eye and I checked out their performances and stuff on Youth with You 3 (the show that they previously debuted from) and I really like them, I’m going to vote for them. Also Yinghao is such a sweetheart ❤ I really liked Shao Zi Heng in the star test thing, he seems really talented so I’m going to vote for him too. I’m also voting for Junhyuk, his performance in the star test was great too and I liked Mirae. Of course, I’m voting for Eden, still mad they cut his performance out 😭 And I’m definitely going to vote for Hangyul, my man has be through so much (he debuted four times, one of which in X1 and we know what happened to X1, and this is his fourth survival show), but he doesn’t give up. He’s the reason I got into watching this show, and oh boy, he deserves to at least get to the final round…. He also is a very warm person. 💗 Please consider voting for Hangyul too!!!

Ik there’s only 2 episodes out but it seems that there are a lot more talented foreign trainees than Korean ones. Since the show is with iQIYI and SBS I’m not sure what the ratio of Koreans/Foreigner will be. Also, honestly I would stan the current top 9 if Daeul (stop voting for him he’s not ready and there’s better contestants) was switched out with Eden or someone else

I don't watch the actual show, I get too invested to watch survival shows before I know how they end, so I've just seen the clips on twitter and thought that was bad enough. You're telling me they had them more or less up on rows of risers, side by side, and there was no option for them to pace themselves?! That makes it so much worse. The way that "artist" and "idol" were made distinctly different categories is incredibly telling, and that speech added on top of an exercise like that makes it incredibly clear that the distinction is that an "artist" is considered a person by the industry while an "idol" is a product or object meant to be used and consumed.

I watched survival show prom produce 101, they just need to record the dance performance then the mentor evaluate them from with dance video. No need to dance over and over again. I mean did the mentor can't evaluate them correctly?? Why do they have to dance so many times??

I rlly can't watch it till the end of the episode.. with this system can the judges guarantee that they can see all contestant in one round.. its just feel inefficient.. also that 30songs excuse is so wrong (you already explained it thank you) , but despite that, the one who do the concert are at least have experience since they are already debuted and sometimes they did stamina prep or something.. what about contestant in this show? Then, the one who got to dance a lot of time is the one who is not that good at dancing, of course it will be worse over time they do it.. idk what they look after by doing this And about signal song test, back in the day the one who got disadvantage are the rapper who only know rap, vocalist at least can get a little praise for their singing even if their dance not that good.. but in this show, they evaluating lipsync lmao 😂 the standard is getting lower This show have a lot of great contestant but the judges makes it hard to watch

The Eden propaganda is real 💀 No but I don’t understand how they cut half of the first evaluation performances (some which were pretty good) to give us a boring signal song evaluation. Like the first twenty minutes or so I was extremely bored because we just saw trainees dancing over and over again to the same song. The poor trainees couldn’t even get a proper feedback in between sets to know what they did wrong Also Xin Che pulling a Zhanghao was not on my Christmas list

I just looked it up and yeah that's adorable! it's a shame he doesn't have more in common with Hao, I mean talent and skill wise... there's trainees who got eliminated who just didn't have a face like his but REALLY deserved to be there and I just feel it'd be unfair to support him even tho I'm tempted now. There's just no way he can get to a level capable of debut in the time frame of this survival show unfortunately, boy need YEARS minimum and he's taken the space of others more deserving (not his fault at all, the stupid PDs)
