Funny that the game encourages you to just plow through and rescue olimar, collecting the onions along the way. Then go back and 100% each area that way each Pikmin can be utilized in the other areas. So us who 100% every area before moving to the next have a completely different experience than those that played more casually

In this game Wings almost never take shortcuts unless its over water and conveyor belts i think, and religiously follow the paths grounded pikmin would take from my experience Basically they removed the entire reason for the wings to exist... WHY

They do take short cuts in Dandori battles, it's how you can get the White Onion without wanting to rip your hair out with nearly running out the timer.

In Pikmin 1 the Puffstool uses its fumes to turn your pikmin against you by turning them into puffmin(originally named purple pikmin but it was changed due to obvious reasons). They would chase, latch on to, and attack you with their mushrooms that replaced their leaves.
