England's iconic red phone boxes are staging a comeback. The payphones have fallen out of use with the rise of mobile phones but Britons have found imaginative new ways to make use of the relics. Mark Phillips reports.

I WANT ONE!!! In Arcadia California near the 99 cent store, there is a public telephone, but there's no Booth. I took a picture of it. To show on my scrap book of "Things not here anymore."

The Red phone box was never "quaint" it was and is an architectural icon an art work and should be kept for all those who have one close by not for self serving entrepreneurs.

One thing I would like to know is that guy who got the contract to remove them does he actually own them as far I was aware they belong to the London city council and he was only asked to remove them doesn’t mean he now owns them so does he really have the rights to do them up and sell them for a fortune ?
