you can get villagers to stop moving in past. at least in wild world, keep talking to them and keep saying no, eventually they could say they will not move... but then you kinda cant talk to them again or you risk them bringing it up again and resetting back to no

Vis! The pattern for the villager asking to move and the one for them wanting to trade items work separate from one another. So if you mess up one up, it will remain the same for the next time they ask the same type of question. (i.e. if they wanna trade and you pick spade and miss and then they ask to move, it 100% will not be spade, and if you miss that one and they ask to trade again, it's like 95% gonna be spade. DISCLAIMER: I used the nr as examples, idk the exact %, this is purely observational from someone who tt a lot to get villagers in the campsite). Hope this helps!

That never worked for me tbh, I've also noticed that based on island, there is a card that the game will usually start with, for my last island it was heart and then spade, diamond and then club. There are other variables and stuff I've noticed, and to be honest, i think it deserves a whole analysis, but I can not be bothered😅

You actually don't have to kick out the villager that your campsite visitor says. You can choose the second option, that you're against the villager they chose, and then you can pick who ever you want to move out. The campsite villager will then say they will ask that villager you chose if they want to leave, and automatically they will. They will come back and say that the vilager you chose wanted to move out anyways, so you don't feel bad for kicking someone out. I always chose who leaves and never leave it up to the campsite villager to choose because I never agree with their choice. Hope that helps for anyone who may not have known - Though it looks like you let Cookie choose on purpose in reflection of the old games(: We didn't get to choose, you're right.

​@@bunnyjeans. it's not true. you can say no and do the whole spiel again until they want to move in again but they will always choose the same villager unless you quit the game without saving in which case they will choose a random villager again. you can only choose the villager that moves out if you're using amiibos
