Imo the Orsted's encounter is best in the manga. It clearly shows that Ruijerd stood no chance against Orsted, we get to see water god techniques and the expressions convey really well the threat Orsted represents. Beside that we even get to see Orsted's curious behavior when faced with an opponent he hasn't seen before. This behavior would help Eris in the rematch. The kiss scene also was a great contribution by the manga.

Rightt, I know people hate the manga, but I do think that it has some really good scenes sprinkled throughout like that one :)

​@@TheCrescentNova In spite of everthing I think the anime did a great job adapting the turning point. Not that great in the last couple of episodes of cour two. Have you seen them? They are not bad but nowhere near the manga. Understandable tho because of new staff and thight time schedules

Oh yeah I just rewatched the scene yesterday and its honestly really good. The rare horror moments in MT are done so well in the anime. Also I haven't seen today's episode yet, but overall I think season 2 is okay? Not as good as season 1 but it gets the job done for the most part, you know? Kinda skips over some important things regarding certain characters but aside from that I haven't had too many issues with it. Then again, I haven't reread the LN for season 2 yet (I'll do it soon) so idk, my opinion might change based on that lol.

@@TheCrescentNova Yeah same here. Liking the second season so far, there are a few things only that could have been better but over all a good adaptation. The world building helps overlook the "downgrade" in animation too.
