@DamonBilliot11 ай бұрын
I use after effects for compositing. While you technically can composite in Clip Studio, it is extremely inefficient. Each layer would be rendered separately, then imported into an editing software! (In my case, AE!)
@tater896011 ай бұрын

cool break down. I was gonna ask" Why do you suppose the hair is on 7 frame loop and the shirt is 11on Sukuna?" but its bc they meet at 77 frame loop. This is stuff I wouldn't think of unless you didn't mention it. Thanks !
@DamonBilliot11 ай бұрын
They’re just offset to make the loop less obvious. It’s easier to draw loops so you don’t need to draw hundreds of frames for each, and they’re offset from each other so that the eye doesn’t notice the loop as easy. They would meet at the 77th frame, you’re right, but that’s not a super important detail I’m glad you asked this though, because I entirely overlooked mentioning that in the video even though I made a point to bring up the loops. I’m still learning how to make this type of content, so bear with me!

Had a crack at it myself for a fanedit project I'm working on, but there's very little info online available about metal compositing in partucular so it's been a challenge. Either way, keep up the great work! Compositing needs to be talked about more.

Do you think the compositer for jjk is as competent as the Demon Slayer one? I know Demon slayer looks kinda better but it has a way good schedule than jjk.. so i'm hoping you could tell me by comparing their technical skills.
@DamonBilliot11 ай бұрын
This is a great question! I don't think they are less competent by any means! The shows simply go for different aesthetics, and the one used by Studio Ufotable is surely more intricate, but that's simply due to the art-style that the directors choose to go for! MAPPA have chosen to simplify things to meet the demand of a harsh schedule, whereas Studio Ufotable almost always accepts only projects that have more lenient schedules!

I said shot, not frame. I don’t know why you’re leaving comments trying to disprove what I’m saying, but you’re not doing a very good job of it my friend. My content is to give a basic overview for hobbyists and amateurs to begin to find information about production. It is not the animation bible. It is not the only way things are done, or even the best way things are done. It is an avenue for people to get a simple to understand introduction into these topics, and to encourage them to research and learn. Nothing more. With this said, your comments have not once disproved a thing I’ve said, yet you are going out of your way to be quite rude. Relax. It’s a KZbin video. Happy animating!

@@2fast_aethat’s not what I said, but I do see where the confusion in interpretation comes from. I’ll attempt to phrase things better next time, though I can only be so accurate when condensing content into such short form like this.
