pretty good take similar to mine. but i definitely think sukuna vs mahoraga fight being longer was good because it shows the strength of both sukuna and mahoraga cus mahoraga was used to defeat former six eye leader of the gojo clan and sukuna defeating mahoraga playfully shows his immense strength. also if it was shorter maharogas adapting ability wouldn't have gotten justice as we wont have been able to "see it happen". i recommend you watch that fight again, you will love the detail how maho is punching in certain way that when sukuna cuts his arms it goes as projectile towards sukuna. how sukuna is trying to fake slash maho and maho is trying to adapt to sukunas deceptions and etc. this was my fav fight i love but this ep was not fully compleated tho.

honestly i think the mahoraga fight was really interesting as its the first thing in the show to actually go blow for blow (other than season one with gojo but that was 1 finger sukuna) and withstand his slices while landing some crazy hits. even tho he got worked and sukuna took like no damage its really interesting as a showcase not only to sukunas strength but also mahoragas real strength as its hard to picture his real strength just by what megumi said and hinted at why sukuna wanted to get the ten shadows before his plan was revealed yet. just my opinion on it tho, i can see where you'd rather that screentime and effort be put into another fight.

I mean I think the Mahoraga fight being longer does work especially when they get to animating the Gojo vs Sukuna fight so that when Mahoraga shows up, anime only watchers will know that Mahoraga is gonna be a challenge given the anime episode they watched and better serves to show how impressive Gojo is when he does defeat Mahoraga. But hey, that’s my opinion and I’m sure you’ll disagree with it haha

I’m anime only, so I can’t really give my opinion on that aspect. But I do think Mahoraga strength would still have been properly shown if the fight was shorter🤷‍♂️

@@KumoBear12 Def give the manga a read, it's really good. The big aspect about Mahoraga is time. He needs time to adapt. And like you said in your video, some panels that are very short get animated with a lot more love and care and show more about the characters. Still images on manga panels can look amazing, but can only show so much. And I've been reading the manga and do enjoy it. But I think the anime using it's medium to show more than still images of the manga panels is actually enhancing the story all the more. And the fact that, in the anime, this is one of the only two fights where Sukuna does struggle, goes to show why he had to, and spoilers below: steal Megumi's body in the manga so that he could get access to Mahoraga to use its adaption to create the world cutting slash, the only slash that can specifically cut through Gojo's Infinity can kill Gojo.

People who are entitled to their "Sakuga" standards. (Aka boring on model and overly detailed animation) They don't accept creativity and just bash on stuff without research when it doesn't meet their boring standards. To them, detailed artstyle + stiff animation = Good animation. Simple artstyle + fluid animation = bad animation.

I really never understand except action what special was in Jujutsu kaisen Season 1 it had over detailed Character design and Rough background animation and compositing.Even ep 14 which was struggling was better than ep 19 of Season 1

For some reason people really dislike the simpler designs of s2 and prefer the over detailed s1 designs. Even if I agreed with that, I’d much rather have simple designs with fluid animation and high quality art, than the opposite

So you are right on many points. BUT! I don't know if you noticed but some of the fights in S2 don't look good at all, like Locust vs Itadori, Yuji & Todo vs Mahito (60% of the fight is disgusting in my opinion), Dagon vs Naobito & Maki & Nanami(this fight is just gross). If you translate S1 with these, you can literally say that all the fights are good as they should be, animations are good, choreographies are good. I mean there was a lot of unnecessary fight in S1 but they never didn't felt boring like S2 did. Except all of these Season 2 is just goat and peak!

@@KumoBear12 I think they'll cook the Culling Game arc, that arc is just the best arc of jujutsu kaisen. All techniques, choreographies, characters are amazing and interesting. Shibuya arc have some issues so i dont mind those problems, Mahito vs İtadori could be better but they just didnt it very well.
