Laraque has been outspoken about the Habs the past 3 years but I was recently thinking he's been very quiet the past couple months. I think he's the guy.
@shaunstarr10 сағат бұрын
No sir. Hopefully I can name drop him soon but it is not George. Promise.
@rich.jerkov5 сағат бұрын
@@shaunstarr Ah C'mon Shaun! lol. Every time you shoot down on of our theories, it just makes this all more mysterious! If his son was still playing for us, I'd say Tie, but there's no way he'd be helping the Habs. I think it's not one of the big names. Someone we all know, but not someone who jumps to mind immediately when talking about enforcers...

Great point. Guhle too stepped up his physical game. They were missing some of that nasty edge and we are starting to see it a bit more often

It was a pleasant surprise to see how physical Habs were against Dallas. I can't wait to see that F-U attitude against the Leafs. I want to see Austin Matthews and Mitch Marner cower way like they did in the 2021 playoffs. 😂 Side-note: speedy recovery Emil. That kid has impressed me so far this season..

💯 on Suzuki being underrated. He’s SO good.
@charles618013 сағат бұрын
Great discussion guys! The change in Habs toughness definitely became apparent the past 3-4 weeks. Using Suzuki also as an example, I have noticed a huge upside in his physicality. I agree with both of you that Suzuki is also Habs best player. He continues to improve every season and as the Habs get better I have no doubt he will have a few 100 point seasons.

Bad news but thankfully Emile is okay. Montreal Canadiens announced Emil Heineman was involved in a traffic accident in Utah as a pedestrian. He sustained an upper-body injury and will be out 3-4 weeks.

@carycwilliams12 сағат бұрын
Suzuki has been the best for a few years now, he's had to do it almost on his own for the last 3 years before this year. Nick Suzuki is a 100 point scorer in at least one season. He's 25, he will do it in his 27 year old year. As things start to click with Slaf, as Lane gets a couple of years older, as Caufield finds more tricks, with Demidov on the first pp unit, Nick will hit 100 points.

Cole Caufield could be the first point per game, and 40 goal scorer drafted by Montreal since Richer.
@shaunstarr11 сағат бұрын
Suzuki is more on pace for point per game. Caufield right behind at 80pts!!
@stephaneferron53174 сағат бұрын
If mcdavid played in Montreal, he’d barely break 100 pts. I’ve been watching the habs for 40 years, nick suzuki is the best and most skill player I’ve ever seen in a Montreal jersey, him and kovalev . Seriously , doesn’t matter how great you are , you won’t produce big stats in Montreal, no one knows why , my theory is that the fan know the game and it’s defensive side is as important as the offensive side of the game , which explains their love for great goalies and defensive systems and their tendency to crucify anyone who commits defensive blunders Dobes is already fans favourites, even back in the days , average goalies came here and became one of the most important part of teams , Hackett and Huet
