They're definitely not the company to fight with, that's for sure. and it's even worse if you think about it because mattel bought out the company that made bild lili and shut them down, and their feud with hasbro in the 80's over Jem was brutal. Mattel also sued MGA over Bratz in the 2000s and lost.

Haha, we're all here from Brutalmoose's Mystery Tapes video. I am sure glad to see it uploaded here, and it was a very interesting watch! I laughed more than a few times, especially 17:54-18:03, and Stephanie Joseph at 41:21 and 42:34. I loved her and all of her passion and creativity. It's too bad that she felt that way about her legs then; I did, too. If she was 10 in 1998, then we're the same age today. I still occasionally buy dolls if I see potential to mod them. I find that a lot of fun to do, to find the right kind of paint for their skin and the right hair type and texture to reroot the dolls' hair. It's difficult to remove the hair that's already there if the hair is glued in from the inside, but the end result is rewarding. I wish I had more time to do it these days, because this video inspired me to pick those projects back up!

My sister and I had tons of Barbie dolls: dentist, grocery shopping, camping, mermaid, scuba diving (with a dolphin that made noises); potty training Kelly (now known as Chelsea), shaving Ken (I think he came with baby brother Tommy), bowling Skipper, bike-riding Stacie. Never had the dream house, but did have a fold up house with 2 rooms; if you flipped the bed over, if became a bathtub and vice versa My mom had Tammy and Pepper dolls growing up; her neighbor girls had Barbie dolls.
