My girlfriend tricked me into watching this show.. she's always looking for shows for us to watch together and when she pitched me the premise "Group of 8 Mormond Women who have a podcast and got exposed for being Swingers". A more truthful premise is 1 girl got caught swinging and her friend group breaks down after the girls pick sides. I still watched it but frankly all those women look the same to me so keeping track of whos who was hard.

Same for me too lmao. I still had fun talking about the psychology of it with my sister though. It reminded me of the fallout show, like if the Mormon wives were the Vault dwellers discovering the real world outside vault tech society.

Mikayla and Jessi both hate Whitney so much. Sources say they both have said that they would not care about if she committed suicide. Sources say Jessi would celebrate with shots and Mikayla said she would laugh. Like damn that’s not the LDS I remembered.

They know they can get more money using that slur term because it creates a certain bad girl image and people are drawn to that. Using the word Mormon is similar to calling a Jewish person a Jew or any of the LGBTQIA+ community members a (fill in the slur term). Hopefully people will realize that soon. If you want to be ahead of the times on what terms are rude, don’t call someone a Mormon.

Most of their problems stem from being sheltered Mormon girls and Mormon culture is just… like that. Nobody talks except behind backs, you’re dead if you mess up, your husband rules your life. More of this is Mormon than we think

@@laylah150 A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Since it’s so long, people shorten it in conversation to LDS or The Church like, “they’re a member of The Church” or “They’re LDS.”

The problem comes when you attach religion to it, plus the social media aspect, and their children will most definitely grow up knowing about all of this drama now which could be uncomfortable for them.

No. I am one. There are alot of religions that follow the book of mormon.. the main religion are not polygamous nor are they swingers. I don't know what mormon religion they think they represent

@@tenerds4569 This must be weird for many Mormons I suspect. They are kind of extreme. Most non believers are more concervative. I do not believe Mormons in general behave like this. Ethics is kind of important? At least that's the impression I got?

Nope!!! You can absolutely talk about what happened to you in your churches!!! Has nothing to do with dishonoring God. Suppressing women in your religion to fit the male patriarchy lifestyle is dishonoring to God and Christ!!! Most Christ followers wouldn’t be accepted as Christian’s if Jesus was to come back today. He would look at yall and shake his head 100%!

@@hannabowles8988 there is such a thing as blasphemous, and we have to be careful to live our lives for God how he likes us to be and living with his holy spirit otherwise instead of lifting him up you bring his name down and in everything you should do it as unto him and is a form of worship and God is against sexual pleasure outside of his holy name and word. He is not a God that should lie, he is a honest and just God. We can love other's but how he loves us and show his way , truth and love in love and many times it's without words.
