Actually, most or all of Disney’s movies that feature a princess are based on a true story or an old tale from a long time ago. They did not rip of this movie, they created an adaptation of an old tale. Look it up, you might find smthn intriguing

I can't help but think this should have been Hans's villain song from Frozen. It just WORKS. Disney would have made it less corny, but just imagine this slowed down and more menacing, maybe with some callback melody to "love is an open door" thrown in.

It's the animation. Like seriously, there is lack of emotion on Anastasia's face and you could have made the prince with more visuals, honestly, what's wrong with exaggeration, huh? Some people call this a ripoff but it was the 1st Anastasia film I ever saw as a kid, and I love it! The songs are so great and catchy that this song in particular started playing in my mind as I'm preparing for an exam😁. Anyways, once I'm done with it I'll finally check out the Fox Animation Studios' version for the first time in me life.(I hope the songs will be good)

I know most people are less then loving for the animation of the movie, but I feel (and this probably being a biased opinion) it adds a certain humbleness to the story
