Thanks Joe. I try not to miss an episode of your videos. It is remarkable what you have done in growing tropical and subtropical fruit trees in the ground in your UK garden; and to show other exotic fruit trees such as Avocados, Persimmon etc, growing outdoors at various sites in London. Pity I do not have a bigger garden so I could copy you 🖕.

Well done Mike, you’ve done a great job. I do something similar with my tomatoes. I haven’t sown tomato seed for years.

I want a tamarillo tree so badly. There is a dwarf one that makes little orange fruits for sale near me, but I want the large, red kind. Very awesome Mike!

At that stage you'll have ripe fruit by Autumn. Amazing job Mike. I gave up on tamarillos, its probably a blessing mine all died from cold in my summerhouse last Winter. Every year they grew to 8 feet plus but NEVER produced a single flower, probably because i grew them all from seed, very frustrating. I definitely think the secret is to grow them from cuttings off an already fruiting plant. They just take up too much space for me to grow again unfortunately 😢

It is not like you to give up on anything Brett, even if your garden is bursting at the seams like mine 🤣🤣🤣. Keep going. Your are a great inspiration.

Wow, great job Mike! Those tamarillos look really close to ripening and there is plenty of time for them to ripen at this time of year. Unfortunately, the cuttings that Moebius sent me didn't make it, I think they ended up getting root issues when I had them inside. I since got a couple from Victoriana, one of them is growing but the other doesn't have any leaves left, I think slugs and snails have eaten them all 😱. So far I'm not having the best luck with them lol 😂

Oh really, I have been trying to grow Tamarillo in the UK, since 2016, this is the firsts time I have managed to grow them outside in the UK. Have you any experience in growing Tamarillo to share?
