I do this. But I do it inside the coop and run. Mixed sand, D. Earth, and ash. I have made a lot of dirt and 🐔 💩 and 🦆 💩 too. Works wonder. Use coffee, grinder up eggs into powder, & tea grounds

There's a park near me with plenty of goose poop. I'm thinking about coming by with a bucket.

what is the lime for? thx
@farmerdude35786 ай бұрын
@@GodLovesYouYesYou whenever you put manure on soil it need lime to break it down. Manure is very acidic. Most people think lime is just to control ph in soil. But it most important use is to allow biological processes to grow. Also if you have some very poor soil it can become very productive in short time with manure, lime, and sugar. The life that is destroyed in that soil will explode. But you still need drainage. Wet soil kills. Put on small amounts of lime every year. I put 300 to 500 pounds per acre on my grass pasture for my goats. The now can use all the goat poop they spread. The grass grows like crazy thick and dense all season. Raising the biological activity is key to high productivity soil.
