Honestly! Triton was captured by Uranus and he didn't even notice it! Nor all the fuss Pluto & co made to save Triton. And Pluto was captured by Neptune without the latter noticing as well... I can easily believe Neptune captured Triton by accident, so there HAS to be more to the story.

Damn. This one was pretty tough. But one thing I think is something that isn’t pointed out is that a moon in its simplest description is an object that orbits anything that isn’t a star or black hole. If any of the spherical moons left the orbits of their planets, the larger ones would be planets and the smaller ones would be dwarf planets.

Did you know that unlike other asteroids, Vesta has a clear inside structure, like the planets. It's got a surface, mantle, and core. Vesta also technically has enough gravity to become a dwarf planet, but A major impact on its South Pole left it with a non-spherical shape, preventing it from fully becoming a dwarf planet, and It's not as malleble as it used to be, so it can't reshape itself back into a sphere. It's stuck with its unique shape, making it a celestial oddball.
