I feel like Naptune being this way is due to isolation. Being far apart from the other planets becomes lonely, so you only have your Moons, and a fellow Dwarf Planet near you to talk. You'd of course memorize all of their names, and to starve off insanity you'd play games so Napture probably just cared less and less of where his moons would go as he knows that if they wanted to orbit, or talk to him they're always able to.

I love how Despite Neptune being a little “out there” he actually has taken first place as one of the nicest planets out there. And maybe even a little bit smart internally. He actually took the time to remember all his moons names. And not get mad and support their choices. 🤯 Like all the moons appear to literally feel sorry their getting involved in the revolution against him. In a way it’s a real reflection on real life. Despite all the conflict and craziness of reality. Some of the nicest people out there. Are actually the odd balls. That deal with stuff like autism, etc. they may not look like much. But they impact the world in so many ways. 😁

Not really, The moon revolution is not really against Neptune. Already, the moons won't attack the giants. Neptune itself is pretty much in agreement with the moons' reasons. Besides being very isolated, rocky planets are a long way off for him.

That part where Triton said that they are basically objects orbiting bigger objects is really interesting, and also where Neptune's other moons wanted to return to Neptune's orbit except Triton who really questioned Callisto about the revolution and whether it's the right path to take

Well he only tried to convince the other moons to join so he can get rid of them. He doesnt care about the revolution and just wants to be left alone. Thats why i think Triton is one of the more interesting characters. He is trying to hide who he trully yet he wants to be himself without other moons around I rhink that Triton will end up hiding in the Kuiper belt for seclusion (and hopefully meet Pluto and Charon)

Actually, Pluto is the only celestial object that Neptune forgets. He recognizes Uranus and Saturn whenever he comes back. I first thought it was because he didn't first meet Pluto until after Neptune lost his mind but then I remembered that Pluto confirmed that they first met 4.5 billion years ago. Maybe Neptune sees Uranus and Saturn as friends but not Pluto. Poor Pluto

But when he started spending more time with other planets, his behaviour started to become more and more familiar. I just love it how the other planets littrealy treat the moons badly and don't care about them, Neptune is different. He cares about the moons and doesn't say anything bad to them, he just said "wanna orbit together again? " and when triton says they want to join the moon revolution Neptune just says "ok have fun! " like he doesn't know what is that. Other then that, Neptune remembers the moon names although its probably been years he didn't met them. It shows that he cares about the moons very much and gives them freedom, unlike those other planets saying that they should always orbit them. I love this episode

@@axtxmn563 in case you didn't know, IQ doesn't depend on a person's knowledge in certain areas, but rather on memory and logical thinking. And although his memory isn't all that good, I think he has not bad logic, especially considering his mental state. But even so, he is quite knowledgeable in astronomy (again, better than Uranus), but it is clear that due to his long isolation from others, especially from the omniscient Jupiter, he could hardly learn anything new. And we can see how, after his return, Neptune began to make up for it by approaching others and and asking them about everything. I really wonder why everyone thinks he's stupid. Because I think that before he disappeared, he had the potential to become the smartest planet after Jupiter, judging by what he says in his current state. I'm not surprised that he remembers all his moons, I expected that, and I would have been very disappointed if it was otherwise.

@@delianazare2553 I wouldn't say that. As for Neptune. First of all, he is definitely not mentally challenged; crazy and inattentive - yes, mentally challenged - no. But we saw that satellites are really important to him. So he was looking for them because he really wanted them back, and he would take care of them. As for Triton. This "father" or "big brother", as we can see, thinks about himself first and foremost. Personally, I did not see any care on his part, where is that care? He sent them to the revolution, where they could die, and he is going to avoid such participation. He is deceiving, in fact, children who do not understand what they are getting into, but sincerely believe him and love him. For me, this character turned out to be more insidious than Ganymede or even Europa. They, at least so far, have not yet stooped to such things.

Not suprise for me. Triton was a the most big dwarf planets before. After, he was capture by Neptune. And... Neptune forgot our Moons during Millions or Billions years. So... i think Triton are a special guy😅

This is a minor nitpick, but S/2004 N1 has been named 'Hippocamp' since Feb. 2019. My personal headcanon (My Space Show that I'm currently making, or at least Trying to) has Hippocamp as a laid-back and friendly dude who plays guitar, and he didn't actually know that he is named Hippocamp until the Fourth Short, when Larissa, Triton and Sao tell him. Even still, despite the technical innacuracy, this was another amazing episode!!!
