Nate I've never lived a day in Idaho, but I'm deeply infected by your spirit. A few months ago our neighbor had a stroke and he houses and cares for his elderly parents. Miraculously he has recovered greatly, but not fully enough to return to work. Our family has decided to give a month's rent to them, $1350. It's very little in the grand scheme, but maybe it'll help them a little enough.

I can imagine if someone is escaping from a domestic abuse situation - they don't want the abuser to know where they are - or perhaps an illness of a personal nature; or to protect kids who have gone through something they don't want all their peers to know about. @sherrithomas5776 - I spent two years homeless while waiting on a long list to get into a reduced rate senior apartment. The first year I stayed in cheap hotels and the last year in my car that wasn't running well enough to drive out of the below freezing winter. The whole thing was frightening for awhile, the year in my car was the most frightening for a couple months. Then I started knowing where the safer places were to park at night, the days seemed so calm. I had everythingI needed in my car, window shades that blocked the view from the outside. I finally felt in control and free from stress. I got through it while being handicapped and unable to walk, hopefully you will become alright until things can improve.

We are from Duson Louisiana and have watched you from the beginning and cry for nearly every one! We have adopted a family every Christmas for over 30 years now. What joy it brings our family! We’ve added something fun to our giving the last few years. Hello from Ireland, former military here. Love how you help folks in need. I moved to the U.S when I was eight years old and I remember my parents struggle. My first Xmas in the U.S was provided by the Salvation Army and I can't tell you how many blocks of USDA yellow cheese I ate as a child . To this day I will not drink powder milk. When I was a kid, there was a guy, Percry Ross, who helped people and the column was called, Thanks a Million. I used to love reading the letters of the people he helped. Secret Santa is something that I watch every year. Thank you Secret Santa and the EIN team for helping people who need a little help.
