Shouldn't the de-esser be first in the vocal chain?

The de-esser can go first in the chain if you like - it's all about personal taste really. Sometimes I'll put one first in the chain and then another at the end of the chain. In this case I felt like it just needed one at the end to clean up the vocal a bit.
