Egyptian stations seem to have a theme of being lower quality or hard to receive. Like, Radio Cairo went back on air recently and it’s so overmodulated I can’t make any voice out.

Omar was an amazing musician. Worth a check out. He is a legend not just in Egyptian music, but guitar and early synth music as well.
