I constantly feel like I’m failing as a sahm bc I’m not productive enough or present enough etc etc. I also feel like we are just rushing rushing all the time and there is never enough time. And then I remember that every person has the same amount of time in their days and has for all of time. Just find myself reflecting and praying a lot lately.

you can either be productive, present or restful. Wow! This is absolutely true and something I have been learning in the past few months. Putting it simply that way makes it easy to remember that you cannot be everything and do everything at the same time

Hey sister this video really hit home, or we are really relating in the same season. I just had a baby and I’m trying to multitask rest, productivity, and being present like you said with my kids. I also really relate to what you were saying by letting god guiding you and by using the word shift through out the day by what he was telling you was so good. I’ve been telling myself that too. I was stressing out how my day wouldn’t go how I planned, I would litterally write out the entire day, but god would say at like 7:02 no your baby needs to be held all day today lol. So I’ve been telling myself Godspeed. Love you girl!

Girlllll!!! Don't be so hard on yourself. I think it boils down to that . God is in love with you! Absolutely enamored with you, Celeste. You are seeking him and He knows your heart. He knew you before He formed you in your mother's womb. He knows you better than you know yourself. Try to rest in the reality of God and who He really is. He is not of this world. And neither are you. You're just in it for a little while. It sounds like He really is speaking to you and you're listening. Rest in those moments of clarity of who He really is - your Father who made you in His image! And He is infinite and holy and good and fair and just and sees each of His children as unique treasures. You are good. He loves you no matter what. Try and let go of your humanness. I'm speaking to myself here too. Bottomline is His love and we will realize that fully pne day. For now, just try and remind yourself of that.
