I had a potential employer contact 2 of 3 of my references. The employer never even interviewed me. I only knew what was going on because my references reached out to me to let me know they were contacted. Up to this day, the employer still has never reached out to me. The only communication there ever was was an automatic email a minute after I applied for the job.

New subbie! Just joined your email list! I have been binging your videos because I’m at a burnout with my call center job. Been in call center for 20 years. Was a call center trainer for 4 years and worked with HR, TA and recruiting and tried to pivot into that department at my last job but the available positions were few and far between and nobody was looking to move up or retire so I had to go back to call center when the client pulled the program I trained for, which was a bank. I did some mentoring with TA and sat in on interviews and was involved with some onboarding. I want to see how I can use that experience to get my foot in the door while I finish my AA (12 credits left!) and go on yo pursue my Bachelors in Human Resources Management. Call center is not for me. After more than 15 years in customer service, a training position was the highest I could go. Since then I have been looking to make a career change to find new challenges and utilize my prior experience, skills in conflict resolution, time management, leadership and passion for helping employees, as opposed to being in my current customer centric field. Your videos are a godsend and you really have a gift for sharing knowledge! ❤
