I love that you have this up. I am actually in a pivot for my career right now. I am days away from starting for an HR degree. I would love a resume review to assist in maybe getting into an entry level ❤

Love your energy Lady. I'm trying to return to HR after 15 years away from my Assistant HR titled position, with plenty of HR type type work included in my Business Management career since then. Your video is amazing and much help. A lot has changed but you making the much needed info plain and easy to understand. I'm an extravert; guilty of over thinking this helps.

Love this information. It has been challenging in this market to break into HR.

Happy you found it helpful. Which market?

@@HeyyyHR Can you clarify what you mean by the market? Are you referring to the industry?
@HeyyyHR Жыл бұрын
@akiagemmati8868 I'm a lil lost. I don't think I said market. I try to stay away from that since it could mean so many different things. 🤔

@@HeyyyHR there’s not a specific industry I was looking to get into. I was in the mortgage financial services sector for most of my career. So I’m open to any industry.

Hey Timeka! I am trying to figure out my career path and how I can get into HR in a cost effective way. I’m almost done with my AAS degree in Business Administration with a micro-credential in HRM. I’m wondering if I should go and get my bachelors concentrated in HRM or just get the PHR or SHRM certification

Hi there, thank you for your videos they have been super helpful as I have recently been looking a lot into starting a career in HR. Being a primarily women dominated career path, would you say it might be difficult getting into the HR career field as a man? Have you seen any specific challenges I should be aware of going into the field? Thank you
@HeyyyHR Жыл бұрын
Honestly, I feel we need FAR MORE men in HR! As a female, it could tug at your emotions. I think men help us to stay focused. Just my opinion. 🤷🏽♀️

Yep! Especially SHRM ones … most times when there is a membership fee, it’s lower for some reason or another (ie student membership, intern membership, etc)

Awesome content! You’re covering some great information. I wrote a book called, “How to Get Into HR” (Amazon) that also shares some insights on how to get the job. It shares stories of people who actually work in the field and how they got into the field. It covers how to deal with rejection when you don’t get the job, and so much more.
