I'm currently on a 112 say streak learning Japanese on DuoLingo! 🎌 I've learned so much and I'm finally learning enough to have small conversations. Looking forward to visiting my little brother in Okinawa, and conversing with natives. 🗾 I also started a podcast a few months ago. For 9 weeks I recorded 1 episode a day every weekday. 📅 I reached 45 episodes and then took a break. I recorded my first episode in weeks 2 days ago, 🎙 but now I'm inspired to go back to daily/weekday posts at least until I reach 100! 🎧 I'm going to look into other goals I have set this year and see how I can apply this 100 day challenge to them 😁 My professional goals are: 1. Create 3 Sources of Revenue 📊 2. Generate $250,000 in annual revenue 💵 (huge stretch goal and not close 😅) 3. Build Brand Awareness 🗣 (hence the podcast) My personal goals are: 1. Become fluent in Japanese 🎌 2. Become proficient in drawing ✍ 3. Become proficient in guitar 🎸 You've got my subscription 😊 I look forward to more videos!

I'm super competitive and Not seeing immediate results and not being good at something immediately discourages me. Bad mindset for sure. Something I am trying to break.
@teamwpventure4 жыл бұрын
I've struggled with this myself despite having a few pretty successful companies over the last decade. I'm now running a few businesses and could comfortably live off the passive income for years if I wanted to stop (but I enjoy them too much to stop haha). In my case it took me years to shift my mindset. My advice would be that you basically need to find a way to turn this competitiveness into a strength. Get excited with the small wins and small daily or weekly progress instead of worrying about the big immediate results. For me, my competitive edge is basically that I'm the stubborn SOB that keeps showing up and putting in the work day after day after day when no one else wants to or is willing to. I will not allow myself to be the reason a business isn't successful. Some days do not go well, but I know if I just kept showing up and pushing the business forward each day that the results will take care of themselves over time.

Since I came back to KZbin I have posted 8 videos from 100. Very important to know your why. I made a video discussing the same thing. Mine is very simple. I don't want to die without posting 100 videos on KZbin. I know it sounds grim, but I don't want regrets when I'm older so I'm going forward no matter what. Also I try to be better at each video. Just last week I improved my lighting on my KZbin set up and I'm consuming everything I can learn on how to be a better KZbinr. I watch Noah here. Roberto Blake and Think Media. You need those 100 to practice and get better. And have fun! Once you throw out the expectations of being big in the short term you have way more fun. Noah you have to do something when you reach your first 100,000 subscribers to celebrate!

@TrustVisuals4 жыл бұрын
@@noahkagan I have some potential ideas that may be seeds for a better idea when you are in the shower. 1) Casey Neistat always made a video celebrating the occasion. Here is a link with an example. you can watch for the first 3 minutes where he actually talks about the milestone before he goes doing other stuff. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZKVeKN3pp2kbsk 2) Knowing the entrepreneur in you blood you could start Prepping everybody for when you reach 100,000! You can crowdsource the idea by putting a poll asking the same question to the audience or something like that asking what should you do to celebrate 100,000 and make it like a countdown like New Years Eve! 3) You could have people send 10 or 20 second videos saying how you helped them or inspired them and make it more about the community your building on KZbin which will make everybody even closer. If anybody reading this comment has even a better idea feel free to chip in.
