Rabbi if you agree that Freud and modern psychology has truth and bases to it, why do you ignore the other modern research of children’s emotional needs and attachment theory, when it is Such a huge chunk of reason why people have addictions and evil inclination for bad? Meaning that mothers are vitally significant to their children’s future- “That image will be subconscious for Eternity” - sounds familiar. It’s not only that we have to chase mitzvos and do good. We have to focus on our pain and bad sides too to understand the Yetzer!!!
