Well done!! This is something that is very difficult for a woman to do. I did not reach for wigs in my Tshuva because my husband rightly thought that there was no difference between a wig and going without a head covering at all. The purpose of a wig is the same. Abraham was born in the 2nd millennia bce in UR Masopotamia, modern day Iran/Iraq. This is where the Hebrews originated from. I was born there and the population in that area were mainly olive, brown, and black. In my time there, I cannot recall a time when I saw a person of European feature being a native to the land. Hebrews were one of our ancestors. The Isrealites and the Jewish faith originated in the Levant once Abraham set foot on Caanan.
