Why is driving better than continuous drops to get to the kitchen? Do you feel the drive followed by the drop gets you to the kitchen in fewer shots?

@@CliffPickleball I feel like high level players arent popping up drives often and are prepared for it. And because a drive is faster it seems like sometimes there would be less time to get to the kitchen than a slow drop especially if that slow drop is coming from the baseline. Thoughts? Against me it won't help to disguise your speed-up because I am always expecting a speed-up. In fact, everyone I play with always expects a speed-up.

Yes you have to anticipate a speedup every time otherwise you get a ball in your chest

Great video and tips. I wish you would have shown how dominate when you’re playing against strong, low cross court dinks. You rarely see multiple straight on dinks in an advanced game.
