A great idea but for me there would be other considerations e.g. is it age appropriate or can I carry it without hurting my back ( I'm in my 70s)

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback, Eileen! I actually tried to address these important practical considerations in the fourth Power question 'Effortless to wear and comfortable?' - which would definitely include things like weight and ease of carrying. You make an excellent point though - comfort and wearability mean different things at different life stages, and what's effortless for one person might not be for another. Along with another commenter, you've inspired me to add a note to the system that any single factor that strongly doesn't work for someone should be an immediate NO. Thank you for helping me improve this with your specific example! ✨

What about if the item fits? Like the oval shaped glasses, they may not be the best shape for every face? and the barrel jeans may not fit everyone's body shape or style?
@Bridget.Fisher16 күн бұрын
If you're aiming for that timeless, effortless style, then these questions help ensure each new piece fits that vision. The style questions aren't about whether something looks good on you - they're about whether the piece aligns with the principles of a timeless, effortless wardrobe. So it's less about "these are the only styles you should wear" and more about "if a timeless, effortless wardrobe is your goal, here's how to make sure each purchase takes you closer to that goal." And when it comes to specific styles like barrel jeans or oval glasses - those choices are deeply personal. Only you know what makes you feel confident and authentic. This system isn't meant to define what suits different body types or face shapes - those decisions are entirely yours to make.

Hi. I tried to sign up for all three free offerings, but it says my email is not valid. I am in the US, but that shouldn't matter. I loved the method and find it very useful. I hope you can help me sign up. Susan

Hi, I like your style and the idea of your system. I miss factors such as ‚within budget’ or sustainability. Also, one NO might be enough for a no buy. Let’s say, something is not comfortable. This might only be one NO but if you buy it you will never wear it. So, some NOs are stronger than others ….

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! You make excellent points. You're absolutely right about budget and sustainability being important factors in purchasing decisions. I actually kept them out of this particular system since its primary focus is on building a stress-free wardrobe that's timeless and effortlessly stylish. I somewhat assumed (perhaps I shouldn't have!) that people would naturally consider their budget and sustainability preferences alongside these style questions. I especially love your insight about how some NOs could carry more weight than others - that's such a valid point! If something is truly uncomfortable or just doesn't work for you personally, it should definitely be an immediate 'no' regardless of other factors. I'm thinking of adding a note about this to the decision guide, something like 'Note: Any single factor that strongly doesn't work for you should be considered an immediate no.' What do you think about including something like that? ✨
