Absolutely! It’s a skill, to be practiced, for sure. I’m a good songwriter, but so far not great at collaboration - this was helpful! And I need to go into collab with this mindset, and remember it when I’ve forgotten.

I took the basic improv program at Second City a long time ago, so I remember this. I think what you say is great as long as there's a few bumpers on the outside. I've taken the UX/UI Design process & translated it to music...to some success. Discovery/Research, is genre at a very early stage, with basic topic, emotions, influences, general bpm, & story arc. Info Architecture wireframes, are basic drum beats, chord progressions, & song structure. I've gained a LOT of improvement by myself, but my guitarist finds it odd to decide so little & then move on to the next thing. I figured we can make agreements as we build & refer back to them to focus what we're currently doing. My big weakness in this collab, is that I need almost all the lyrics written to move forward at times.

Their was a time I thought too myself we would have a fun collaborating together the way I feel now its past expiration for me this is why I don't like the apps and platforms I am a face too face person
