Thank you Jamie! I went down the wrong path starting out. I got burnt out so fast. I have been doing hair for 13 yrs. Majority of those years I worked for a franchise salon. I quit doing hair about 2 yrs ago. Recently I decided to start over and do hair again and nails. I have kept up my license being current. I am now booth renting and it’s been slow starting up but I know I’ll get there with the clients that I want. It has been nice to schedule clients around my kids instead of stressing how to get time off. I’m so glad you posted this because it will keep me going to grow my business. Also, I love how helpful your videos are. I love watching them and learning new techniques. Thank you. Please keep making these videos!

I've done hair 29 years and I went thru burn out for many years. So now I'm in the process of regrowing my business and building it up again. I have a new love and excitement for hair. I wish I had your videos 15 years ago. Today I took your hashtag advice and within an hour booked a new client. So I'm so excited! Thank you

At first I was going to say I hated that you didn't really share any new tips here. But then I found myself clicking the link and joining the waitlist. I guess I do have something to learn from you about sales because it worked on me! I'm really looking forward to taking the courses. I'm really hoping what I learn will work for my target audience.

I wish I had seen this video when I left hairdressing two or three years ago, burn out sucks. I left my dream job, luckily I have been so fortunate to reconnect with my old employer and we are going to be working together again very soon, your videos have inspired me to be great again all while avoiding burnt out, I'm so excited to see what's to come

Hi! Stylist for 19 years here! Moved from Iowa in a busy studio to very part time schedule in my licensed home salon here in Colorado, for the past 3 years. I’m getting ready to move into a salon Suite in August and get back to more of a full time schedule. (My youngest is off to kindergarten this fall!) Love this video! This is exactly what I’m looking for. The clientele I have lately is exactly what I’m looking for excusing a few clients lol. I want to expand my business and keep growing the type of clientele I have now. I would love to be on your wait list. Thanks!

I want to raise my prices as I know my colors are more detailed than any salon in my area. I am booking out at least 2-3 weeks in advance. My clients are rebooking in advance. My colors don’t go past $150 and can last me up to 3-4 hours. Median price would be $120. My colors include before and afters, styling and a trim. I feel like I’m doing a whole lot but am not making enough to contribute to my growing family. I don’t want to lose clients to my price change. I’ve seen your video on notifying your clients, but I still don’t want to take a step forward to only take a step back

Found this so helpful! The thing I struggle with is marketing. The UK is slightly different with some things but so similar when is comes to salons! Im just struggling transitioning from being mobile to working in a salon and getting my clients to come with me 😭

@jamie dana please will you make a video thoroughly demonstrating Highlift tint? It doesn't work on block hair and I'm afraid to experiment on clients. I use goldwell and highlifts still scare me...

Hi Jamie, I just finished the your business re-builder program and found it really helpful. I love the idea of taking this break we've been forced into and using it as a reset. The one place I struggle with is letting go of my non-dream clients. Some of them have been clients of mine for over 20 years! I understand why I need to let them go but I feel bad. Any tips on the best way to do this?

Where I live I could not find any salon that has stylist assist right out of beauty school and educate and teach, they just threw us to the wolves which ultimately led me to almost give up on this career

I do all, hair and beauty and trust me, you can make use of her videos even as an esthetician... you just have to change a couple of things here and there for it to work out... thanks to Jamie's videos, my facial clients have grown so much... and it's all thanks to her teachings on how to create captions and what sort of photo's to post....
