Great video. I’m so impressed with your mechanical skills. After I took my motor home on its first trip I went back to the dealer and had a rear sway bar installed. I had been in touch with e-trailer who gave me a list of suspension items for sway. The tech at the dealership said that too much suspension would make it feel like I was lifting weights all day so we started with just the rear suspension. It made a dramatic difference. I haven’t had to add anything else. Your RV, because it is a high end RV may have come with it but the rear end sway bar has been a game changer. Thanks again for the great video.

Great job Izzy! I’m glad MJ had you around to fix things on the motor home. But all this is great to know. We rented big rig few years ago and the people who we rented it from gave us a lemon. The shocks were bad the dressing was bad the drivers seat had issues you name it had things wrong. I think the suspension too my brother said. We made it back home luckily. Nice job Izzy.We did upgrades with sumo springs, rear tiger track and safety t plus on our Canyon Star it took care of stability but still had a hard ride. We ended up switching over to liquid Springs 2 years ago on rear and planing on putting the front on here in the near future. I was able to road test liquid Springs on their tiffin open road recently with all 4 corners. Having driven a dutch star and knowing the ride quality of a motorhome with IFS Liquid spring has been able to duplicate the ride and handling with 4 link system and computer technology. The ride competes right up their with a independent front suspension ride for alot less money. If you really don't need a diesel motorhome now you are able to get that ride, handling and safety.

I hope Newmar watches your videos,cause they need to step up their game on the suspension. I have seen some Tifton Class A gaser videos also where they have had to do similar up grades. Maybe they are on the same chassis. That’s sad that on such a great motorhome that you have to do this. I know it’s probably a money thing but in this price range it should be standard equipment. Hi Don it’s simply because of the f53 chassis. Tiffin does offer suspension upgrades but they are options. When KZbin that truck chassis or a DP you are paying a lot more for the better ride. Our next one won’t need suspension upgrades!! Thanks for watching Izzy

Not really sure if it’s the fact that we have a Diesel Pusher of that the previous owner made the suspension upgrades but we put over 8000 miles in cross country travels this year on our DutchStar 38’ Coach and even in heavy cross winds it tracked straight down the highway without an issue. No swaying at all. On a side note it appears it’s time for Jason to get the leave blower out of storage. 😂

I installed roadmaster sway bars 1 3/4 nickel , front and rear made a huge difference I am assuming this is basically the same thing but a different configuration hummmm, wonder which is better.

My 06 28’ Gulf Stream class A got: radius rods, koni FSR, shocks, air bags, replaced front sway bar, with road master, added second sway bar to rear,track bar, koni FSR shocks.here as well.also has airbags on rear. Installed the steer rite, but don’t like the way that particular component feels so I removed it. I may not have had it set up ckorrectly

Just bought our first motor home, 2016 Thor Challenger 37LX with only 6,500 miles on her and suspension is going to be my first upgrade. My question is, when you removed the shackle/leaf spring bolt out for the brackets, did you have to support the suspension? In my mind it would want to dome down due to the weight.

I've done the Safe-T-Plus and the Super steer rear trac bar (both were a great help). The Roadmaster anti-sway bar arrived last week (minus some nuts and bolts that I'm waiting on now) and I have an appointment on the 17th to get the Sumo springs put on....and then I'm DONE...So you can stop showing things to make me spend more money!! LOL

Quick question, do you have front and back Sumo Springs? I'm wondering if these would work with Sumo Springs as they seen to clamp in nearly the same area on the leaf springs. I have a 2016 Newmar Canyon Star and upgraded the entire suspension system with front sway bar, back auxiliary sway bar, Trac bar, sumo springs, koni fds shocks, and blue Safe-T-Plus. I have the F 53 chassis I have done sumo springs all way around, new shocks (Bistiens) all the way around. The saftey plus. Cheap hendeling fix on the front only but the biggest difference was bade by the Super steer rear track bar. That took every bit a wagg the dog out of the coach. It was my biggest improvemenet. Honestly after the sumo springs and the track bar I didnt feel I needed stabalizers

My son-in-law who has also a Baystar just spent $6000 to have stabilizer bars etc. installed I think he could’ve saved a lot of money with your route.
