I'm just barely getting into caricatures and I've been drawing for six years so I'm very detailed. So, it's hard for me to exaggerate the features of a person and I've been watching a lot of videos and taken random pictures from google to learn and get the hang of it. Hopefully I'll be able to draw caricatures like yourself and others. 😁😁😁

LOVE 💖 your technique. It's makes drawing a caricature ALOT faster. I am also a caricature artist and my caricatures take right under 10 MINUTES and that is just for the head/face/hair(shading...details etc) I want to get my time to around 5 minutes. I think I'm stuck on the details ....even though I use ALOT of exaggeration. And I start with either the EYES or MOUTH first. As I keep using your technique and drawing the outline of the face and head first I end up with not enough room for my facial features.😔 I'm going to KEEP trying it (NOT GOING TO GIVE UP 👌). I'm inspired by your channel and you using your talent of caricature drawing to share with others. 💥Great VIDEO👍👍

Hi great artist! Where do you buy GREY Broad Line Crayola markers? (I can only find boxes of 12 in Black :-( Thank You!
@RowserWorld6 жыл бұрын
We have only found them in the box sets too. :-( So we've had to buy LOTS of these boxes, and donate the extra markers to my daughter's school. But because I use black & grey, we find it more economical to buy them like this rather than purchase individual, "more pricey" markers. But we are still in the hunt for bulk greys, and it we find them we will definitely share the information. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, Happy Cartooning! :-)

Thank you again, RW! BTW, what kind of paper is best to draw party or events caricatures in your experience? Do you have a preference on thickness (grams, pounds) and do you roll them up with an elastic band before you hand them to the customers?
@RowserWorld6 жыл бұрын
When drawing live, I use this 18x12 type (www.amazon.com/dp/B000F8XHOI/?ref=exp_rowserworld_lv_dp_vv_d). I like it because of it's large size and so do the clients. It's lightweight so I have to put an extra scratch sheet underneath for the ink bleeding thru. But other than that I think it works really well for my all marker and mix media caricatures. I do normally roll them up and put a rubber band, unless the customer wants to take it unrolled. Now if I have a booth setup at a bigger event, sometimes I also offer a plastic sleeve for a small additional charge (www.amazon.com/dp/B00TMV7YSO/?ref=exp_rowserworld_lv_dp_vv_d). But for the most part they're just rolled up and the customers are fine with that. Well I hope this helps. Thanks for watching. Happy Cartooning!

You forgot the mole on the left side of her face. Google any picture of her and you can clearly see the mole. Sometimes it's covered up by makeup but it's still there, and it's there in the picture you're using .... Also, why didn't you use the grey marker to draw the lines in her hair? That would have made more sense, since she has dirty blonde hair.
