This video is speaking directly to me. I have that same problem but definitely more severe. Beautiful.

Wonderful video!! Perfect enough description of technical ideas without getting into the weeds but doesn’t treat the audience like they are dumb. Love this!!

@@svk_5104 the acronym, “GOAT,” implies something different than what this person is saying. A better phrase would be, “my favorite player,” since Max it’s not anywhere near the greatest even of this generation

The whole video is stupid. One swing is a wedge and the other one is a 6 or lower. Of course it'll be steeper. What are we doing ?

Idk, man. Seems to me like he just had a swing fault and they fixed it. The while ‘limited lat mobility’ thing I’m not buying. “Max has trouble raising his arms..” For heaven’s sake, he can lift them to shoulder high, which is all you need in a golf swing.
@RW131585 ай бұрын
If you compare his old swing to his new swing, you will see significant changes in maintaining posture, rotation, and arm depth. In his old swing, he could not raise his arms because they were stuck underneath him, and he lacked the flexibility to complete the move of getting to the top of his backswing. I disagree with the comment that lifting your arms shoulder high is enough, maybe for the amateur golfer. All the pro guys have high hands at the top or above their shoulders. That is what creates power on the downswing. I agree that he made an odd move by not rotating and simply lifting. If you watch, he loses his posture and has no choice but to move towards the golf ball, causing the dreaded S word or flipping his hands and hooking the golf ball for an amateur. Max is talented enough to time everything up; it's not ideal, but it works for someone who practices often. This is a model swing an amateur golfer should analyze. It is simple, complete, has excellent tempo, and is ideal for a player who doesn't play every day. For Max, amateurs are going to rent this model swing every weekend for 36 holes, but he owns it, which is why he is one of the best in the game.
