Amen Sister. I can cook like the DuckMen do, but never mastered those biscuits. Actually to be honest, I never even tried to cook them as I’m afraid I will mess up. My Granny used to cook and her sister used to cook them like out of sight. Good biscuits hard to find anymore. Of course Mrs Kay has them, but I don’t get them around here anymore.

Riley is such a sweet polite little girl and Miss Kay reminds me so much of my own patient loving Christian mother. I'm so thankful that while I had her here that she took the time to not only share her love of the Lord with me by word and example but also patiently spent time teaching me how to cook and all the things that would help me to become a productive loving Christian woman. Miss Kay exemplifies all that is good and decent in this world.

My grandma made homemade biscuits for my grandfather almost every morning and they were awesome. My wife and I made these yesterday. Best biscuits I've ever had hands down. Sorry grandma. Lol. Such a sweet little girl. When you see a child with show manners and courteousness like this, it's a testament to her parents. She has been raised right because he's parents were raised right.

I just made apple crumb cake with my little grand girl. She loves to cook. She took it to a neighbor who is having heart surgery on Friday. She really loved our time and she and I talked about Bible verses that talk about how to treat neighbors, old folks, and respect. The lady gave her an antique doll. My grand girl accepted with such dignity. She wished her luck about her surgery and hoped it went well. Came home and said she didn't want the doll but it was a nice surprise. I think I have taught her well.
