Just a couple things to note. Idk if im missing you showing it but some slight compression would help keep your vocals tame and in the mix better. I also recommend putting the Reverb on a send rather than directly on the vocal chain. I respect the grind 🤞🏽

Use a compressor instead of a limiter. Never use a limiter to get 'loudness'

Just know , if you take any of this advice . Youll be taking 10 steps back . Mono Plugins for mono recordings . Stereo Plugins for Stereo recordings . eq before you compress , Reverbs on a send , Dynamic eq when your pulling bad frequencies . Get perfect reverb by deviding 60000 by your tempo to get the perfect reverb release and pre-delay time . This video was terrible . Im glad your excited about growth . but daaang . Go study up more before teaching others

Yes thank you! I typically don’t use a limiter to heighten my vocals but I was playing around with my chain and decided to try it out and thought I would share my findings but you are so right !

@@Kaymixedthat there are no rules. I always used a limiter in FL Studio mobile cah I ain't playing with no rass compressor, wasting a hour of my life when I can use a limiter an da ting dun in 10 seconds 🇯🇲 🎺 😅

Factsss lol. Limiter so much easier but yes compressor is definitely the way to go . But I have the Rode pod mix that is low in volume off rip and so are the Shure SM7B and sometimes u need more a little more than compression to bring that volume up lol

I’ve created and bought presets over the months and just tweaked them to fit whatever beat I’m doing . I’m not the best at mixing beats honestly . But I’ve learned. Little eq and reverb can do a long way on your beats . Best to not over do it . Sometimes leveling is all you need
