@@CheezeGriffin It's not bad. You have best of both worlds. You'll look like you have a high top and it will look fuller in the back. That's why I like my set now. I restarted by combing my locs out and cut my hair into a mohawk. When I had only a high top. I transitioned after I grew about 6-7in in the back of my head. It was looking wild with a afro at the back with high top locs tho lol. But I'm glad I did it.

It is but a good loctitian is hard to come by and a lot of people don’t know how to retwist their hair especially in the beginning since it takes more work so they will pay it. Plus it comes with a wash from a licensed professional (you have to have a license to wash hair) and drying where as your braids is just a style done by someone who isn’t a professional. Also if someone messes up your braids, you can take them out and start them over. If you go to a loctitian that doesn’t know what they are doing for long periods of time, you may have to start over. So it’s worth it to pay the price if you want them to come out good. I pay like $120 for a wash, retwist and style.
