We caught up with the Team Principal of the Red Bull Formula One team, Christian Horner to explore what made this 2022 F1 season so successful. From the battle's with Ferrari, working our their own designs, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez's relationship, and the strong connection the team have. It even includes a special mention of DC's destructive tendencies whilst racing for Red Bull and what the future holds for the team in 2023 as they look to continue their recent success.

Hungary was probably my favourite race of the season. Red Bull weren’t the fastest car on track that day, but with well calculated and executed strategy (starting tyre + pit calls) and brilliant driving by Max, they took a well deserved win from halfway down the starting grid. Max, since that FP3 crash at 2018 Monaco GP, has been one of the most consistent drivers (in terms of pace) on the grid.

We have to be grateful to Red Bull for all the money and effort they put into extreme sports (WRC, F1, Moto GP ,air race ,etc) they also have a great young driver program ! that gives opportunity to less wealthy drivers !

Next year they should be fine. They had such a big lead the 2nd half of the season they were able to put focus onto next years car early. They should start the year as the fastest team, or at least equal with Ferarri( since ferarri have the only opportunity of the top teams to improve the engine due to reliability). It's the 2nd half of 2023 where the reduction in wind tunnel time can hurt them. If they are far ahead again, they can turn to 2024 and it won't matter much. If it's close however, which i think it can be with Merc and ferarri it could come back to haunt them. Then for 2024 the cost cap penalty will be gone. We will see........

This year was a very special year which I think will not be so next year. If Ferrari can solve the unreliability of the engine, they had turned the power down because of it during the season, I think they will be difficult to defeat. And Mercedes will be back next year too. But Red Bull still has the lighter chassis they didn't use this year. I also hope the other cars will be closer to the top. Than we can have hopefully a more exciting season.
