I have a boss that’s “always busy” but never really does anything.

There has to be a certain level of visible performance. Bosses need to be taught/entertained by you to justify your existence. You are constantly selling yourself it's called personal branding. It's not good to be "secretly" busy. If you're busy, show yourself as busy under their understanding.

There was an interesting comment made at the very end. For leaders, they need to realize it’s not about them it’s about their workers. However, a wise employee knows that if things go well for their supervisor, and the employee does things that make their boss look good to the higher-ups, things will go well for them.

If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you...prevent inflation

Ken, you are not anti remote work, you are anti remote nonwork. People get triggered on this because there is more non-work in person than remote.

Ken, I really like your podcast. However, you comment in this one that everyone came home during the Pandemic. My college kids and teacher husband came home but I didn’t. I work in admin for a manufacturing business. We did not shut down. We masked up and kept working. My employer got us a letter to keep in our car in case we got pulled over for leaving home against a government curfew. That letter said our work was deemed essential. I’m so grateful I was able to keep working and get a paycheck. However I missed the boredom and binge watching that so many people talk about.
