What I'm not quite getting here, and I confess I'm presently only half way through the video, is why one would even contemplate holding on to the vowel sound that clearly isn't really in the lyrics (just say the line rather than sing it to confirm this) and can only be added there for some kind of artistic effect. Surely the natural behaviour would be to hold the vowel that needs to be there, not the one added purely for effect.
