Diaphragm Workout For Singers | MYTH BUSTER! // Confused about how to breathe for singing? You don’t actually sing from the diaphragm, but rather you sing with abs! You’re only breathing from the diaphragm when you inhale, but on the exhalation, you use your abs to engage your breath support for singing. So this exercise isn’t actually a diaphragm exercise, but rather a breathing vocal exercise for your abs.

@Jeff Sparky All of these pop stars who also dance are incredibly fit... They've been doing this for a while and have learned how to calm their heartbeat and breathing fast. To practice this go on a run and either sing at the same time or introduce focused and controlled breathing patterns.

Great question! I recommend warming up for 10-15 minutes and exercises for 20-30 minutes (depending on how strong your voice is maybe less)... hope this helps! =)
