Identify the wicks, especially on the noticeably large candles. Usually the wicks tell the battle-power of the bulls/bears was not successful. That area is usually indicated by the wicks - where strong support/resistance is there.

Hi Umar, I just wanted to share my opinion. I think the market runs on a automated algorithm. The liquidity provider has infinite money to provide liquidity for both buy and sell orders. The FED is the liquidity provider for the currency market imo. If what youre saying is true then my question is how comes the algorithm rejects from key levels so precisely? If it was a fight between buyers and sellers how is it so accurate whereby price rejects from specific key levels to the exact pip.

Umar, what do you think of the "advanced volume bars" that you can get for TOS in which each volume bar comes in in both red & green so at a glance you know precise percentage of support / resistance ~ supply / demand ~ buy / sell orders flowing into whatever volume bar is being created in the immediacy of the moment? Great mentoring, thank you.🙏 If I could add something from experience - take small steps at a time, do your technical analysis before placing a position, always stick to the plan and within your budget, and always use Stop Loss as you'll never know how the market will behave (do not trust the market). If I used Stop Loss, I would have never lost the money. I always thought I would recover it before I realised it was all gone, but it has been a lesson and I had to learn it. Now I use SL for all my positions and it's working out much better.

Salam Umar, Thanks for the great explanation, I built my own Orderflow indicator, and I use EXACTLY this same approach to market, sometimes i get some help from bookmap to see if there is any strong absorption zones on edges, and monitoring the growth rate of volume profile around the edges to see if orders are being executed or pulled out, yet at market opening you can not accurately anticipate things, sometimes with ALL LOGIC ANALYSIS, the market endup doing the complete opposite, so how to spot that ? There will be times you will have everything correct and market will do its own thing or you'll see random action happening which becomes hard to read beforehand. That's where you take the loss and move on, hence why risk management is super important and the idea of being right everytime isn't possible

Amazing video! As always!! Just one thing does not make sense to me: In your example in the video, when there are very aggressive buyers, but they cannot drive the price higher, because there is a huge seller on the side. Would you enter long or short?

Depends on context. There’s a few more pieces to the puzzle that you have to be able to understand to get to a final conclusion. If you see a huge seller at a certain level and buyers aren’t able to absorb all the selling then short opportunity may exist
