Always upload on instagram in what resolution you are shooting . I have compared 2 clips same clips diff results . First clip downscale from 4k to 1080p as shown in the video Second 4k native i can tell you that the 4k even with the compression of instagram looks amazing no gliches no moire effect no antialasing on foliage and stuff .

1:30 but this crop cuts only the big black streps? Cause it felt like cropped the footage as well. And it turned 90 degrees the whole footage. Could pls explain this? Btw amazing video ty vm

Yes, it does crop in on the image. It is just easier to do that setting if you have multiple clips. Because then you would have to manually zoom in on each individual clip to fill the vertical frame to remove the black strips. It isn't necessarily turning the footage 90°, it's just rescaling the video to be vertical. You could rotate the clip in the inspector window of the clip if you wanted that look. So strange. Was the Bitrate in your camera high, about 100MB or higher? That's one of the only things I could think of. I've used these steps with Sony, Lumix, Canon and Samsung Galaxy and iPhone footage.

I agree with you it’s strange but I forgot to mention that I’m trying to get a good quality from action cam on my drones such as Gopro12. It’s actually a bit better from 40000kb/s up to 80000kb/s with your settings in 1080
