Who wants to read a boring manual before trying out an awesome brand-new gadget? Not me. This can opener has a modern and sleek look, but exactly how to use it isn’t obvious. That’s why you might have read some frustrated reviews from others who skipped the manual like I did for about, oh, say 6-7 minutes. Alright, 10 - if I’m honest. But I can tell you that the simple instructions and a couple of practice rounds will have you opening cans like a can-opening rock star. If you’re lucky, you might open a few cans with friends watching. Don’t be surprised if you leave their mouths hanging open with wonder at your incredible and mysterious metal cutting skills. “Where can I get one?” they’ll ask. Think of your popularity! I wouldn’t be surprised if they started grinning and lovingly chanting your name in unison.
This can opener has no obvious protruding blade to pierce the top of the can like the old-fashioned can openers do. The lid of a can is severed from the side of the rim, not through the top. The separation is so clean it leaves no jagged, sharp edges behind. You can hold the edges of the separated lid with your fingers - no problem.
The knob is easy to turn with excellent leverage and, as others have reported, shouldn’t be a problem even for those who suffer from mild arthritis in their hands.
My wife doesn’t prefer this can opener. She has an old-fashioned one, so we have both openers in our kitchen drawer. (I take this completely unnecessary duplication as a robust exercise of our tolerance and love for one another.) But if I need to open a can, I'll sometimes make sure she’s nearby so I can nonchalantly open my can and then flip the lid in my hand like a coin so she can see me catch it with no cuts. So far, she's unimpressed, but I think she’ll come around one of these days.
Overall, this opener was a great purchase and highly recommended.

Once you get it to work, it works great. You may not even realize the top is cut off at first.

What is "two main poisoning" ? Meanwhile, the U.S.D.A. writes that according to their tests, it's fine to store unused portions of food within the original can inside of a refrigerator. They do suggest moving it from the original can and into something airtight for optimum quality and flavor and to use it within 4 days. Article title is After-opening-canned-foods-is-it-safe-to-refrigerate-the-unused-food-in-the-can and it's at the usda site... if you can manage posting on youtube then I figure you can use web search to get the complete article and background information. For what it's worth, the USDA has been testing this kind of stuff and publishing data to the masses for about 100 years now and other countries have duplicated the efforts and peer reviewed.
