The secret trick to getting better LP gains

I was getting like +19 -21LP gains but then I literally just didn't play Ranked for more than a month since I was busy / I forgor so I decayed 200LP; but on the plus side I'm getting +28 -15LP with higher MMR even after I climbed back to where I was before which feels way better(Finding Faker Day 66)
I'll be putting all of the vids that include clips during the "Find Faker" challenge in the playlist below! Hi Poly, hope you are doing well! I am on the verge of starting learning Bard because of you and your content (love it). Lathyrus mentioned in the guide that Spellbook Bard is your special. I'm by no means a good player, rather a casual one, so do you think it's worth trying to learn Spellbook Bard or do I better stick with more traditional keystone runes like Guardian or Fleet Footwork? I do know it takes quite a lot of skill and macro awareness to effectively use the Spellbook.
