Super helpful - thank you. I would say THE cue point instead of A cue point since you can only have one, correct? It gets confusing with hot cues, of which you can have several.

Is there anyway to lock the cue button while that current song is playing? I just accidentally bumped the cue button in practice while the song was playing and it obviously completely paused the track and went back to the cue point, this would definitely be worse than pressing pause and is everyones worse nightmare to do in a live set.

Nice thanks for posting this video. That cue button in particular was honestly the least intuitive of all buttons when I was learning Pioneer DJ equipment. It has a lot of "hidden" functionality.

you could put in annotation, "in quantize mode, the cue 'snaps' to the closest beat grid line." ;)

Hey, thanks for the tutorial. I had a setup last week where I couldn't hold down the cue button and release the track with the play button. Was this due to the settings or was the CDJ possibly broken? I first had to let go of the cue button and then the play button to be able to release the track.

You have probably enabled CDJ mode instead of Vinyl mode

Hi there Dexter, can you tell me how to play tracks continuously on the CDJ 3000?? I always bring a usb in with me to work,and for some reason its not playing the tracks continuously 🤷‍♂️ I have all the tracks done through Rekordbox etc, but after every track I have to press play again, and the auto cue is off as well 🤷‍♂️ Any help much appreciated 👍

Do you have a solution to automatically load in your hot cues on the normal cdj 2000? because right now i have to press my rec/call button for 3 sec and tap all the hot cues 1 by 1. Do you have a solution to automatically load in those 3 hot cues?

What is the small red indicator on the black circle background in the centre of the jogwheel screen? It changes it's position whenever You change the cue point.

it is exactly what you say: a cue point indicator ... which is in practice .... pretty useless

Plz i am having a problem is that when i set a hot cue in cdj 2000 nexuse 2 is that it keeps loading the 1 st song hot cue not the new song am playing how to deal with it is there an option for that? Thx

yeah, you switched off autoload hotcue in utility menu. It works, but you have to press the CALL button together with pressing a HOTCUE, that will load in the hot cue. check my tutorials about the utility menu and the hot cues

When I load a track to deck 1 or 2 it automatically plays and won’t let me cue, how do I fix this?

It is a setting in the settings menu. Cue autoplay or something like that

Question about song display in a play list. How do I get the songs in the play list to display the key, and the BPM? Without hitting info. I watched your CDJ-2000NXS2, and didn't see it covered.

you can choose two items to display next two your songs (bpm and key I find the most useful) you can do that in the option screen of rekordbox I believe it's also in my Rekordbox part III vid

or maybe it's in the export screen in Rekordbox if you put in a USB drive and click on the drive

Delete by pressing delete. Jumping you do with hot cues, not cue points. cue points are meant to cue a song
