Keep up the great work guys! So happy to have more content to inspire and motivate me to keep going. As for your laser, Print and cut feature in Lightburn is your friend. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve designed a cut in illustrator with registration marks, print a template with those marks (just tape it down on your large blank material sheet), import that into Lightburn, and use those same marks to register the placement. Guaranteed to cut your material EXACTLY how you want it. I have sublimated on acrylic (with my marks), imported my Illustrator file, Print and Cut setup, then perfection. It really cuts down on my material waste no matter if it’s leather blanks, card stock, wood, acrylic. It even helps you make up jigs for repeatable jobs (like engraving on pens). I don’t have a Boss laser but it should be compatible with Lightburn. I also don’t remember what software you use but if it isn’t Lightburn, give it a try.

I’ve grown use to how Lee shoots and edits over the 5 years I’ve been watching his channel and I was biased at first but I’m loving how this is being shot and edited it’s similar but different.

Your channel is always my go-to when learning new tips and tricks for printing, but I also love seeing all of the little space savers that you’ve implemented over the years (cutting foam to hold the ink cups = 🤯) Simple solution and super clean looking! Keep doing what you’re doing man!

Wet on wet print came out sick! Love the idea with the mixing cup holder. Let us know how it worked out.
@mattsconberg82256 ай бұрын
solution for tipping mixing cups - use wide mouth uline mixing jars with screw on lids - wider yet shorter (good for stacking space) and wont tip over with a spatula while empty. 👍 come in clear or white - s-22855 / s-22856
@leestuart386 ай бұрын
I'm not a fan of those jars because they take up so much space when empty,and they cost a lot. The paint style cups can stack inside of each other which is a lot better for my small space, and they're cheap. Plus I had issues with those jars cracking over time when I used them a few years ago.

Round cut a magnet sheet and stick it to the bottom of the cups.. like the ones on the back of souvenir fridge magnets.. maybe would work 🫡

For a shiny black on black look you can also use a clear ink (something with some body, doesn't need to be a gel). The use of a clear will also give the print a small level of depth, similar to stacking color and clear in a paint job.

What Meshcount do you use for the Underbase this two Wet on Wet Prints? 🙏🏼

@TrueArtPassion6 ай бұрын
@@leestuart38 thank you! I use a 157 thin thread mesh for the underbase, but unfortunately it doesn't cover very well with a one hit pass, so the top color unfortunately always lets the black of the T-shirt shine through. I stamp the underbase and I work with the Wilflex colors. I work on a manuell hand press, Can you give me a tip please?

Do u know . I spend every day almost two hours watching ur videos . Some videos i watch twice or even three times. U are my inspiration. I want ur advice and will be really much appreciated, iam in Montreal and thinking to have my own printing shop , same as u have maybe , as a graphic designer i have a very good experience specially with the large format designs . However, as your experience, do u think this business can grow up. I mean do u think if i open my shop for screen print, mimaki uv printer and other printer machine for flyers and brochures, will be hood business ? Iam very hesitant and afraid specially that i will ask for business loan and keep my current job at less for couple of months. What u think ? Cheers

Throw a magnet in the bottom of the cups, easy to pick up and won't be top heavy and you'll never need to try to clean that foam
@leestuart386 ай бұрын
That was my first thought because I love magnets, but they sit on a lot of non magnetic surfaces too and the magnets made them more unstable in those cases when I tried it
