@@Fiberchats If I may give a little constructive critism, for interview style: 1. Sometimes you ask a question, but then start explaining WHY you ask that question, only to be inspired to ask a new question, which left me very “But they newer answered the original question😢” 2. If you ask a question with a short answer, try asking them why that is their answer. I wish I knew why she loves teaching short rows and what she considers the magic of them, because I have very little experience on short rows. Perhaps its obvious to people who know, but to the rest of us it may be interesting. 3. If you dont have a time limit, try not to cut off the person you are interviewing so much. Perhaps this happens because of time delays between you, I just got annoyed by the constant interuptions, because I was left qurious to what they would have said😆 That said, interviewing is super hard and you are doing a great job, especially since its your second language!

Thank you so very much for taking the time to chat, record, edit, and share this incredibly informative video. I watched twice (back-to-back) immediately after finding. Your videos ❤. The first one I saw was your short on combination knitting. It was such a revelation! I’m self taught from the days before KZbin. I’m a left handed person who was always taught to use my right hand. I’m actually very grateful for this. It’s caused me to become ambidextrous, and thus, a combination knitter. Everyone constantly told me I was “doing it wrong.” I eventually learned the “right way” for both Continental and American style, but they both make me terribly slow. Knowing the knitters I respect use the style best suited for them, allowing me permission to use the style best suited to me.

"there is always, like, "i'm afraid" of this or that or that" - oh yes, i've heard that so-o-o-ooooo many times and it always amuses me - because there is absolutely nothing, NOTHING to be afraid of... just go ahead, knock yourself out and have a good time... as StevenBe said in your interview with him, "when i knit i want to be entertained" - my sentiments, exactly... that is my "tip" of the day and every day. very good new series, good job, as usual!

Re. first interview- knitting with yarn in right hand is not necessarily slower, because throwing is not the only technique to knit with yarn in right hand. I learned throwing first, and it's definitely slow. Hazel Tindal does not use throwing, she uses flicking. Flicking is just as fast as knitting continental with yarn in left hand. I use both, interchangeably, when doing colourwork, and just to give each hand a rest. Great channel Irina, thanks. 🙂
