Purchased the pattern, love all the extras in it. I love all your patterns 😊 And love your videos (and need them as I’m still a newbie). Might be a while before I get to it though as I’m just about to start on the Teloujay, something I’ve been meaning to do for more than a year lol

Another fabulous tutorial. I love your videos! Just a quick tip--at one point you trimmed away the seam allowances to get a sharper corner, but you will get a better result if you don't trim those seam allowances away. Instead, before you turn your piece right sides out, fold the seam allowances in, along the seam line, at those corner points. Hold the folds in place as you turn it through (which is a bit fiddly but doable), and you'll have an amazingly sharp corner, with remarkably little effort.

Thank you for all the tips. I have one for you. When you are adding a pocket and don’t want to pin it or use DST, I use masking tape on each side to keep the it or zip in place. Works for zip facings too. When I get to the masking tape, I remove as I go. I also love that tool you used for clipping the gusset where there are curves. I’m going to order one for myself. I love your videos and I’m happy Adam has joined you. I look forward to seeing many more.

I love this bag!! It has a very unique design!! Also I'm not sure if you're subscribed to Sewgnar but I know she works with a lot of waxed canvas and cork. She has a couple videos on how to repair blemishes caused by sewing needles in wax canvas. It might be worth checking out just FYI

Another fantastic pattern! I haven’t tried Waxed Canvas yet but love WPC and use it for many projects, including upholstery. Love the Pattern Notcher - how sweet of Adam to get it for you. I love all your patterns and this one is no exception! I’m excited to make my own! I was wondering…the red bag in your video, is the top made of cork? And does it have piping? I’m nervous about piping so was wondering if this can be made without. Thank you for another amazing pattern!!

I would add light interfacing assuming your machine can handle the thickness. If you want to add more structure you can extra stabiliser to the main panels if needed

Thanks for buying the pattern. For all bags I make I tend to use a tex 40 thread or a 100% polyester thread such as Gutterman or Coats Moon threads

Just a question: doesn't waxed canvas "smear" onto your clothes when you wear it? Especially during warm weather?

I’ve heard some say that may happen but I’ve never had that happen to me and I’ve had bags in very hot weather
