It will be very helpful if you have a camera over the head to show the impact point of the q ball

i remember 3-40 years ago snooker table use 3 lamps for lighting and many players see the light spot on object ball surface for aiming

Cannot use shadow method in the Philippines. Most pool areas are in the open area.

Interesting....I don't really have any 'shadows' on my table though its a Diamond ProAm with the full size Diamond light.

As far as I can see this is CTE but using the shadow of the ball instead of the edge.

I rather use a CUT plus HYPOTENUSE aiming on those angles shown here.

Fantastic aiming system, it works for me. Whether this system works in snooker or not?
@RajeevKumar-tt6vp
@RajeevKumar-tt6vp 8 жыл бұрын
Does the system work in snooker? No, of course not. All the aiming systems are approximations that work due to the small size of pool table and large pockets (bigger margin of error). In snooker, tables are twice as big and the holes are just around 1.5 ball wide.

I believe this system has merit but I also believe the light/lights must be positioned EXACTLY above the center of the cue table. And when I say it has merit that doesn't mean I'm buying 100 percent into it yet. When you move the cue ball around to different areas of the table the shadows become longer as the cue ball is farther from the lights and vice versa. This could be VERY problematic and this system is VERY MUCH like the guys who think they can aim looking at the reflections on the balls. I have sets of two 8 ft tube lights ----three of them in weird positions above my table not even close to the center of my table and one whole set is not working right now. A lot of natural light is also coming in. My shadows and this is no joke are at least an inch and a half from the SIDE of cue ball. I mean that's how far they extend from the cue ball.

Good vid..its all about perception. Ive found out that you can visual the cb to the ob in any alignment..meaning i can use center to edge. Center to center or even center to a contact point on the ob..for some reason your brain makes you put your bridge hand down in the right place automatically

This is exactly what's happening to me and it's frustrating because I'm currently trying to learn Pro 1 CTE and it basically explains all the details as to what your body does when this automatic response is happening and I just can't seem to stray away from the automatic response and manually do what my brain wants to do automatically.

It wasn't the system or the method! I hear this a lot but in different ways, its the stick, I need a new stick .it's the balls, need new balls. table etc. convenient excuse but it's you who lost. I noticed when the shadow was faint what part of the object ball the shadow was at, and that's where I aimed. I think if you try and see different ways to adapt, you will succeed
