What a shame that The Seekers didn't continue with Louisa. This song demonstrates the talent of The Seekers as they exhibited a style quite different to their previous work. Louisa's voice, too, demonstrates transition to those warm "smooth as honey" depths. Gorgeous voice. Gorgeous lady.

@@tjdjukic8905 Hello TJ Djukic, I'm David Miles. I went to school with Louisa In Rosebud. We sang in a trio for several years and I had quite lost contact with her. Remember me to her if you get a chance.

@@tjdjukic8905 I'm seeing conflicting accounts of what became of Louisa Wisseling, one of which is that she passed away in 1978 of an undisclosed illness. Given that she's your grandmother, could you please fill us all in on how she's been doing all these years?

Beautiful lady, beautiful voice, beautiful song. It's a pity everyone kept comparing her to you know who. It was a different band with a different sound in a different era. I personally thought Louisa was wonderful.

Very nice, but as you say, a different sound. And a different time. Unlike the original seekers, it did not catch on. I think it is called popular music. Popularity depends on what people will buy. Myself I have never like anything the Stones have done. But that is just me.

I have an LP with Louisa and the Seekers from 1975 called simply The Seekers. There is a song on it sung by Louisa called "A Never Ending Song" written by Bruce Woodley. Her voice suits is perfectly, as it does with this one here, which I assume was also written by Bruce.

I agree that this is very good. I would buy it as a single.

They did, and are still active.

I will nevere understand why this lineup with Louisa is scorned. In my opinion she was so much warmer and better than all the others including Judith. Not meaning Judith is bad. I just feel more when I see and hear Louisa.

Thanks Terrence. I had no idea the lady had died. I have tried many times but can't find much about her. She had a good voice and was attractive too. What a waste! Thank you for letting me know

Hi John Jones, I can't say that it's a certainty, but it would make sense given her "disappearance".

John Jones, I have to update my previous comment with a correction. I managed to make contact with a relative of Louisa Wisseling and have been informed that she is very much alive and living a quiet life in Victoria. Much happier news. I apologise for previously passing on information that has turned out to be incorrect.

What on earth happened to Louisa Wisseling? This lady can sing and is worth watching too. How can I buy a CD of hers?

Apparently (and sadly) Louisa Wisseling died of an undisclosed illness in 1978, shortly after leaving The Seekers.

I am sure this was not from an album, only a B side of a single. I agree with Trevor H it was a different time and Louisa is FAB> I had a brief chat with Keith Potger in around 1983, he informed me that Louisa had a bouncing baby boy

Thanks Terrence. She has a fantastic voice and is a very pretty lady. I wish her well. Many thanks for the update as it is indeed much better news.

Why did the cameraman skip over Athol??

He was campaigning for re-election and was not permitted inclusion in TV coverage due to a media blackout period.
